Please stay on the marked trails and off the plowed town roads except for crossing and accessing the trails. Fines for riding on roads and for non-registered/non-insured sleds can be VERY expensive. Costs can be up to $300 or more.
The Club has worked hard with the local constables regarding trail access requirements. Please help enforce the laws by telling others.

Business:
1) Thank you notes -- The club received two thank you’s from the Wardsboro Fire Dept. and also Alan Bills and family. The fire dept.’s was for using our Skandic snowmobiles on a rescue call and Alan’s was for the flowers at Janet’s service.
2) Hot dog roast -- A hot dog roast will be on March 15th at 12:00 p.m. at Ron Tietjen’s house. All are urged to come.
3) Safety course -- The club should maybe see if we could do another class for the following year for the younger kids to become eligible to ride legally.
4) Rescue ride-in -- The rescue ride-in is coming up fast on February 23rd at the Stratton Rec. Park. Raffle prizes are still needed and 50/50 tickets are on sale. We will go shopping and get all the food etc. for that day. This day benefits the Wardsboro Rescue and the Rescue Inc. ambulance services.
5) Meeting -- The next club meeting will be on April 12th at 6:00 p.m. at Ron and Melanie’s house at 310 Pams Hill road off from Sheldon Hill Road. This will be a potluck dinner and it will wrap up our meetings for the season. All are urged to come as this will also be the election of officers. Anyone with trail concerns, etc., please let us know so we can plan work for the summer.

1) Rescue ride-in - The ride-in will be February 23rd at the Stratton Rec Park. There are 50/50 raffle tickets on sale for that day. If you would like to purchase some please see a club officer. We still could use prizes also.
2) Meeting - The next club meeting will be on February 16 at 7:00 p.m. This will be at Mike Koolis’ house.

Old/New Business
1) TMAs - So far the club has done approx. 210 TMAs this year which is a record number for the club. Many thanks to Melanie for our nice website she keeps updated and also many thanks to Monti and Norman for doing all the tma’s for our club.
2) Mugs - The club this year has coffee mugs for sale with our logo on them. Please let one of us know if you would like to purchase one.
3) Rescue Ride-in - The rescue ride-in for this year is scheduled for February 23rd at 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Stratton Rec. Park again. There will be raffle tickets for sale and we will need raffle prizes if anyone can collect some for that day. Let’s make this a record year!!
4) Trails - Our trail system is open to riders but with the rain that came there is some open water holes. So ride with caution and please respect the landowners land and ride responsibly.
5) Meeting - The next club meeting will be on January 19th at 7:00pm at Mike Koolis’s house in Stratton off from Ball Farm road.

1) Wilmington police letter - We got a letter from the chief in Wilmington stating that if we have any need for their services on our trails we should contact them. That is for any snowmobile related issues.
2) Trail work - Anyone working on the trail system we have keep track of your time. The time spent may make you eligible for a volunteer sticker from Vast.
3) Rescue ride-in - This year we will plan for the rescue ride-in to be on February 23rd at 12:00 p.m. at the Stratton Rec. Park again. That is if this day works for everyone etc.
4) Opening day - The opening day that we can ride on the trails is December 15th. If the weather will allow us to?
5) Christmas party - Our next meeting will be on December 29th, 6:00 p.m. at the Wardsboro Town Hall. Please bring a dish to share and a $5.00 grab-gift.
6) Mugs - We have sold all the shirts and hats we had last year and we will try selling coffee mugs this year. Let us know if anyone wants one.

1) Rescue ride-in - The ride-in went very well this year and we want to thank everyone that helped make it happen again this year. The club raised $1,500.00 this year. There will be $1200.00 going to the Wardsboro Rescue and $200.00 going to Rescue Inc. The other $100.00 will be going to the Stratton Rec. Park for letting us use the Park the last couple of years.
2) Hot dog roast - The hot dog roast will be at Ron Tiejens place at 12:00pm on March 24th.
3) TMA’s - Despite the weather and the conditions we have sold 139 tma’s this year. That’s pretty close to last year. Thanks to everyone that joined again this year.
4) Election of officers - The election of officers stayed the same again this year.
5) Canedy Road trail - We may look into changing our trail a little bit so we wouldn’t have to ride so much of Canedy Road in the winter time. We will need to talk to some of the landowners through that area to get permission that we will need.
6) Drags - We voted to have another 4-ft. pipe drag made this summer to match the other one we have.
7) Work party - We will need to get together once the season comes to an end to take down our posts and signs etc. Anyone willing to help please get a hold of me and I will let everyone know what the date will be and the time.
8) Meeting - We decided to have our first meeting in October this year which will be held on the third Saturday of that month.

1) Rescue ride-in - The rescue ride-in will be coming up again this year on February 17th at 1:00pm at the Stratton Rec. Park. This year we will do hot dogs, chili, etc to keep it easier. Anyone wishing to come may also bring a dish to share or a dessert. Hopefully we will get a little more snow so we can all ride-in this year? Anyone that wants to contribute to the rescue ride-in and cannot make it can make a donation to our club by mail. Let’s hope for a great turnout so we can support our local rescue dept. Contact Melanie Tregoning for information and to volunteer.
2) Grooming donations - Thanks to all the members that have again contributed to the grooming fund again this year. We are looking forward to getting out on our trails when the conditions allow us to do some grooming.

1) 2007 Rescue ride-in - This year the Rescue ride-in will be held on February 17th at 1:00pm at the Stratton Rec. Park if we get the ok again from the Rec. committee.
2) Grooming contract - We have gotten our grooming contract again this year which is the same as last year. The season begins on the 19th of December and if we had the conditions we could start grooming on the 13th.
3) TMA’s - Anybody buying their TMA from Vast this year before December 17th has a chance of winning a free snowmobile from Vast.
4) Website - Be sure to keep track of our website this year for events going on etc. and any new news we have to tell. Also there you can print out the registration forms for our club. That website is www.mtcd.com/pathfinders.
5) Christmas party - Our x-mas party this year will be on Saturday, December 30th at 6:00pm at the Wardsboro town hall. This will be a potluck dinner. Please bring a gift of $5.00 to share.Meeting adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
